Hurry and Sailor are very friendly and thorough in explaining the place of interest around Gotemba and places to go in Mt Fuji. You got the beautiful Mt Fuji view directly from your room. Incredible! Its a totally different hotel from every hotel Ive been before. The host rebuild a historic cinema, so you own a whole cinema once you step in. No matter how many people you have, the cinema, the rooms, the toilet and kitchen all below to you. The best way to enjoy here is watching a movie in the sofa，take some local beer and then back to your cozy room. And there are several restaurants nearby are opened till midnight so you dont need to worry about food. Besides, the hotel is just 3 mins walking distance to railway station.

A nice japanese style house, with all the necessary equipments to cook in the big kitchen. And everything was clean. Quiet and confortable. Close to the lake Ashi by bus.

Could not have loved this place more, it was the highlight of our whole trip. Amazing comfy bed with a lovely view. In the morining I had a relaxing soak in the lovely private bath on my balcony, which was surrounded by trees and birds singing, as the sun came up - absolutley perfect. Lovely traditional breakfast! The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Several of them spoke very good English. We paid to have a kaiseki dinner at the hotel and this was a wonderful experience - amazing food and we had such a lovely evening. Wish we could have stayed at this place for a week!
