Hurry and Sailor are very friendly and thorough in explaining the place of interest around Gotemba and places to go in Mt Fuji. You got the beautiful Mt Fuji view directly from your room. It's literally your breakfast view. Thank you for your hospitality we will come back and stay again in your place

A nice japanese style house, with all the necessary equipments to cook in the big kitchen. And everything was clean. Quiet and confortable. Close to the lake Ashi by bus.

Great little hotel in Hakone, it's in the northeast side of the town so very accessible to hikes, and there are several restaurants nearby. The owner recommended Monda izakaya which had excellent food, and he even made a reservation for me! The owners are great people and are super welcoming/helpful, they told me all of the spots to check out in Hakone and what route to take to reach them all which was super helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful private oasis. Comfortable in all the ways that count with a staff that went above and beyond. Slight walk from public transport, but highly recommended overall.

Could not have loved this place more, it was the highlight of our whole trip. Amazing comfy bed with a lovely view. In the morining I had a relaxing soak in the lovely private bath on my balcony, which was surrounded by trees and birds singing, as the sun came up - absolutley perfect. Lovely traditional breakfast! The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Several of them spoke very good English. We paid to have a kaiseki dinner at the hotel and this was a wonderful experience - amazing food and we had such a lovely evening. Wish we could have stayed at this place for a week!
