Host - Yumiko-san is one of the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met. She was extremely helpful - she informed us of the best route to travel when getting to her place from another city. When we arrived, she recommended a place for dinner, helped us make a reservation and even brought us there. Needless to say the dinner was amazing. She also shared spots that we should visit given our limited time at Mt Fuji. Yumiko-san is also thoughtful - she noticed that I was coughing at night and made a honey lemon drink for me in the morning to have with breakfast (breakfast was also great by the way)!Lastly, Yumiko-san is passionate about hospitality and the Fuji area. She was nothing but welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property - The house is absolutely spotless, cosy and boasts a great view of Mt Fuji. We had everything we needed and left wishing that we had stayed longer!

I booked this fantastic villa for a night, because I wanted something very close to the Chureito Pagoda, so that I can hike it before the sunrise. The place is absolutely spectacular, the self-check-in is super nice and easy. It has so much space and rooms and beds. The dining area has a huge table, but also tatami if you want to sit down when eating. The Mt. Fuji balcony view is amazing! And best part is, the Pagoda is about 300 meters away! I was lucky to get a fully clear view of Mt. Fuji from the top, which was stunning.

We highly recommend Oshi-Kikuyabo Mt-Fuji Historic Inn, it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The hosts were lovely and you could tell they had put a lot of effort into making the stay enjoyable for all guests. We enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese home and also loved that the staff shared the history of the house and its significance. The house is central to Fujiyoshida and is within walking distance to shops.

i love this place, i got the whole house for the two nights stay. and its conveniently located near 7/11 store (just 2 mins walk). you also can view mount fuji near the road, and the view is amazing. however if you were gonna stay here, rent a car, i dont see any taxis around in the area and also you can drive to different lakes and parks with cars.
