Despite a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus station, we absolutely loved our accommodation. Our host; Michele,was an absolute treasure who greeted us and made us most welcome. Once we got our bearings, we realized we were within short walking 🚶♂️ distances from Il Campo and the Duomo. A very substantial breakfast was served in the local Bar downstairs. Our room was large and well equipped for our needs. A bonus was the use of a well equipped communal kitchen. An elevator made access to the property from the street level so easy!

Elena, the host, was very supportive. There was no kettle in the kitchen and she bought one for us. Also she suggested local sweets to try and places to see, that were not on our list. Due to this we changed our plans and took accommodation for one more night. She was very nice to give us a bigger room&garden view, with a discount and also to move our luggage. She also let us keep our luggage after checkout, for a few hours, without any charge. The kitchen has a fridge, a vending machine with small prices, biodegradable cutlery, tea bags and free tourism foldings with the main attractions of Siena.The two rooms we had were very clean (sparkling) and the beds were very comfortable. In the bathroom there is enough toilet paper and soap, shower caps, hair dryer.The location is a few minutes walking from the bus station Siena-Via Tozzi, from where buses are going to San Gimignano and Volterra (with change in Poggibonsi). Few minutes walking there is a Pam local and Conad supermarket.
