What did we like about this place??? Well, EVERYTHING. The size of the rooms took my breath away. Not only was the clean and well decorated but was HUGE. Well worth treating yourself to the superior size room. As to the views....... We overlooked the main Piazza so sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening, watching life go by was a treat. Got to say Mantua was a lovely city and well worth diverting to.

They also very helpfully arranged a p[arking permit in advance so that we could park on arrival. The rooms have recently been redecorated to a high standard. Very nice and spacious place - more a suite in fact - with nice view to both sides and giving a luxurious feel. The living room and bedroom were divided by a hall shared with other guests, which we didn't mind. We liked having coffee and water there (though I prefer real coffee and a machineta to coffee capsules, particularly in Italy), but the water came in glass bottles which we really appreciated. The beds were super comfortable. And the host very helpful and easy-going.

Fauzia is a wonderful host, she is very kind and helpful. Not just the wonderful breakfast, which has a nice variety of foods and drinks for anyone and a daily surprise of local, homemade foods, but her passion and very emphatic attitude made our stay very pleasant. When there was no information about a sight or the schedule of transportation, she made calls, and guided us what to do. She is very flexible and caring. There is a sign in the kitchen: the secret ingredient is love (or something similar) which is absolutely true. If you want a nice local experience, I strongly suggest you to choose this place to stay.
