The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of options for hiking and sightseeing nearby. Cozy and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. I’m so glad that we booked 2 nights - you’ll regret leaving after just one night. We didn’t see the lake monster, but did have beautiful aurora borealis shows both nights. This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip around Iceland.

The apartment was ideal. Very clean and comfy, there was everything needed to cook like oil, salt, pepper. Plus there was a table outside where we had our lunch with a perfect view. The apartment is literally in the back yard of a farm and obviously you can see many sheeps around which makes the experience pretty unique.
