The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and even prepare a small welcome gift in the kitchen. We would have loved staying longer.

Our night there Was one of the most beautiful in our live because of the location which helped us to catch autora... it was visible even just outside the apartment. By 10 minutes walk small mountains have hidden all city lights which disturbed to catch it. Well equipped place and good bakery located up to 10 minutes walk having beautiful lake on the right to get to the main road. Highly recommended in winter time or to be close to Hengifoss and Litlanesfoss.

Would definitely stay here again. The room had its own private bathroom which had us crazy after staying a couple of nights in other guesthouses with shared bathroom. The size of the room was big enough for 2 people and 4 pieces of luggage and the beds were really comfy. One of my favorite accommodations of my trip.

We enjoyed watching the puffins at Höfn which was a village worth spending a bit of time in after a lovely drive across the mountains. We also visited the gorge he recommended on the way to Myvatn. The smoked lamb and dried fish gave us an unexpected taste of Iceland and we really enjoyed his travel stories and knowledge of the country.
