We had a great time there and liked everything about it. The house is lovely furnished, the room we had was cosy and had all we needed (and more). The breakfast is delicious and prepared with love. If you are not sure what to do or search for ideas i would recommend a chat with the host. He is open to give great advice and tips for trips, restaurants and more! The name of the accommodation fits - It really feels like a safe haven :) thanks a lot Mark!

Spectacular staff, amazing food and you can’t get a better location. Beds were very comfortable and water was hot, breakfast made to order and a great selection of fruit, yogurt toast and juice in addition to the main breakfast. The little extras give this place have a special charm that will stay in your memories forever.

Good quiet location, easy parking,very comfortable beds, generous sized room, spotlessly clean. Fabulous garden area with several seating areas to relax (if your lucky with the weather which we were!) Wendy was so charming, nothing was too much trouble for her. Good choice of both cereals and cooked items for breakfast and freshly prepared to order. Just a little tip, if you do require gluten free breakfast options just drop her message in advance, it helps with her planning and prevents food being wasted. Would definitely recommend Grove House and hope to return there. Room 5 has lovely views of the garden and mountains.

What didn’t we like would be the question. absolutely nothing!! this wee cottage oozes of comfort, all mod cons but keeping the cottage feel. Our hosts Sean and Elaine did an outstanding job with not only the property but also with the welcome they gave us. If you want to experience the ole country cottage feel, surrounded by mountains and silence and still be spoilt this is the place to be! I can’t thank them enough for giving us an absolutely wonderful weekend.

Location was spectacular, town was charming and accommodations were comfortable. Great place for hiking and outdoor activities. Our host was exceptionally friendly, gracious and helpful. She was even willing to drive us to the train station because there was no bus service on a Sunday.

Although I did not select an apartment with "sea view" (which costs extra) there was actually a sea view from one of the bedrooms and also a balcony. The Carlingford to Omeath Greenway which goes along Carlingford Lough starts right at the Marina and there is a bike rental company there too with 10% discount available to those staying at the apartments. The village is a 10-15 minute walk.The apartment was warm and cosy with everything I needed for a 2 night stay.
