The central section of the property where our room was was built in the 16th century. It was originally a tower with a warning fire to let people know that the Vikings were invading. It has been stunningly renovated by Ramona over the years. Her knowledge of the history is very interesting to hear. Our room was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious with Ramona making a GF bread plus a Santiago cake, both of which I was able to enjoy. (I am coeliac). We caught a taxi in heavy rain from the Camino then a taxi back the following morning. (€5)

It was great. Was less than a mile off the Camino Portuges. Great for nights stop. Huge apartment. Kitchen was small but adequate. I did not use Big plus was a laundry balcony. Washing machine but didn't use. Hanging line. Living / dining was was huge. Comfortable sofas. Comfortable bed.

Very clean, comfortable apartment very near the Camino path. Good restaurants and a supermarket very nearby. Hosts were very responsive, even at 10 pm when I couldn't figure something out (my mistake). Keyless entry with door codes which was really convenient. Great stay.
