Don't be fooled by the picture! This place is bigger than it looks as it's quite deep. The apartments above the first floor are quite large. And what an amazing location. A very short walk to the start of an amazing hike along the coast (heading east). Also a pretty town to walk around in with a great surf and swimming beach. The host met us at the property as planned and let us into a very wonderful little apartment. Very new and very clean with a great kitchen. We hung out here to recharge for a few days and loved the town and surrounding area.

The apartment was very comfortable and centrally located. The best part of our stay was our host. He didn’t just meet us to hand over keys but was available via WhatsApp for any question. All but one question was about what we observed during our stay in the area - purpose of dredging being conducted, what local fishermen were fishing for off the pier at night, etc. Jose was the most welcoming and accommodating host I have ever encountered.

Located on the beach and the beautiful long promenade, one couldn't ask for a better or more stunning location. The hotel rooms were amazing - spacious and very well equipped. High end furnishings. Breakfast was superb. There is free covered and/or uncovered parking. I have looked forward to staying at Villa Rosario for several years and now that it has occurred, I cannot wait to return. This area of Asturias is charming.

We had the window open all night, and loved the sound of waves pounding the beach. There is a gate from the hotel to the promenade with great views of the bay. The bathroom is newly refurbished, the breakfast was included, and there was a good selection of food. The staff were very helpful and positive. The hotel is one of many villas along the beach walk, all built in Ribadesella's play day as a destination for the wealthy.

It is a short drive into the city but there also a few restaurants withing walking distance in the neighborhood. The view from the property is breathtaking! Breakfast was not included, nor expected but a delicious cup of coffee was available before our departure.
