Beautiful, modern, comfortable and cozy, newly renovated apartments next to the Ponferade Cathedral itself. Wonderful penthouse view point looking over the whole city. The host, Waldo, is very kind, caring and full of information about all the details necessary for a pleasant stay in the apartment as well as in the city. He welcomed me with a bottle of excellent red wine, made a dinner reservation for me at the best fish restaurant, and it opened an hour earlier than usual, helped with the laundry,... Thank you Waldo. A big and sincere recommendation to everyone who likes a bit of luxury and elegance when traveling.

fully equipped kitchen and was fully stocked for breakfast the next day. Fully stocked bathroom as well. Nice location. the owner was very kind and had a translator that spoke English.

Great design, great location, and well-stocked kitchen with all the basic cooking tools one needs. I also appreciated having a laundry machine (for Camino purposes), Netflix, and the Nespresso machine (along with capsules and milk). The mini bottles of olive oil and vinegar were a great touch! Ernesto was a great host who helped us out immediately when we needed his assistance with some things related to to the property.

The availability of both a cafe and restaurant, on site, was ideal following a long day's drive. The location was ideal for a day out to Santiago de Compostela, as well as other shorter journeys to local historic villages and the coast. Overall, great value for money.
