The owner is really friendly and very helpful. The room was modern and comfortable with a balcony that overlooked a field making for a quiet night’s sleep. The bathroom is also beautifully updated and while overall on the smaller side, the shower was actually quite big.

The hosts Mario, Belen, and their son Edu are very friendly. Belen drove us to the city center to go to the pharmacy and the bank. We even went to the grocery store with her. They treated us like a family. They went above and beyond customer service. They helped my friend who needed to see a Dr. They called a taxi and had advised the best place to see a Dr. Also, they helped us find the place where to stay after we made an error in booking the hotel next town.

everything is so good, totally matches, and even exceeds my expectations. I forgot to pay before I lived in, and I am so sorry that I could not pay by card, I advise everyone who lives in this hotel could pay by card or cash. Then talk back to the room, I like it so much, it gives me a feeling of a family even though I have never lived in a house built of stones, it is so special, and of course, so clean, convenient to go anywhere, pretty quiet, I met good friends there, this hotel is one of best memories in Palas de Rei.

Spacious rooms and common areas in a beautiful rustic setting make this a great stop on the Camino / French Way, and this was by far my favourite stop. Miguel was an awesome host (greeted by name on arrival) and helpful and accommodating. I liked the dinner (I went with Galician broth and raxo) as well.
