The accommodation was on the camino trail just across the road from the church and a little tree lined park.The door was closed when we arrived but was opened when we gave a single knock. We were then given a card with the access code to the front door and our room.The room was spacious and warm with a terriclfic shower. The continental breakfast which was included had an adequate selection with an endless supply of terrific coffee. It is near restaurants and bars

Luis, the owner, was exceedingly kind and generous. He made sure that I had everything I needed and that I knew where I was going the next day. He even made sure that I got what I wanted for breakfast even though it was not available at the property. I was touched by his kindness and enjoyed my stay at La Puerta de Arzúa.

It's a stunning property in a beautiful setting, I had a beautiful view from my room. It's a bit off the Camino, and I had to walk on a main road for a while to get there but it was totally worth it and I'd love to go back and stay again. The place is quiet, charming and feels like a 5 star hotel experience. There was no dinner served so I ate at the village, but had a great breakfast which was also great.
