Host couple were extremely kind and service-minded. Was invited for a birthday drink and driven to the port at departure. Arranged a mountain tour with a private driver. The large room and lovely big terrace were very neat and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen. Everything spotless. Can warmly recommend this place.

Nice setting above the main town with a beautiful view of the entire town, the ocean, and the island of Saint Vincent. Extremely nice people. very attentive. Great breakfasts and great recommendations for things to do. oh, and we also loved having the goats chickens and ducks around. They also have some very friendly dogs. So if you’re an animal lover, it makes it kind of fun.

Big apartment, where we had enough space for all our stuff. It was clean and the host was also very nice and picked us up from the ferry. It is just 5 minutes walking distance to the ferry and the restaurants.

Cute family house with an independent bedroom and bathroom. There is also a space with a fridge and a table with mugs, plates and a kettle for breakfast. The family is super nice and welcoming, they went above and beyond to help us when we had a health problem. Great atmosphere with a concert one night. Absolutely recommend it!!

Gorgeous property in an exceptional location overlooking the sea with a view of Sao Vincente. A great place to catch your breath and relax while travelling in Cape Verde. The breakfast is delicious, the owners welcoming and helpful while respecting privacy and space.

Marie és una gran anfitriona, em va ajudar molt amb pràctiques orientacions tant a Porto Novo com a la resta del municipi. L'esmorzar, fantàstic, mig internacional, mig caboverdià. L' hotel net com una patena, tranquil, amb vistes meravelloses. Vaig poder treballar online a la terrassa amb una connexió excel·lent.

The house is located in a rural area outside of the city Porto Novo, so you have literally couple of kilometers of beaches just for yourself. It’s great quiet place, ideal for morning or evening runs! The house has all the equipment for cooking, warm water, an OK wifi. It’s beautifully furnished, vegan breakfast option is possible! If you don’t rent a car, be sure to bring enough drinking water and food from the city. Any taxi can drive you there from Porto Novo for 500 CVE (aprox 5€), walking there is an option but not the best idea during the hottest part of day 11-15:00.

Really sweet and accommodating hosts, the setting is otherworldly, it really feels like being on a different planet being surrounded by such a volcanic landscape. Peaceful sunrises with the singing sound of a couple buzzing bees and incredible sunsets, not to mention the night sky filled with stars. The house itself, situated just outside of Porto Novo, is beautiful and cosy too. The beach is right at the bottom and you can walk to the center by it.  We immediately booked another night here for our return to Porto Novo.
