Beautiful location and lovely, spotlessly clean room. Our host Rafael was very attentive and helpful despite us not speaking any Spanish, and he organised a walking trip for us with a local guide called Francisco who showed us around waterfalls and the gorgeous countryside - a very nice day out. Food was tasty and freshly prepared. Gardens and surrounding countryside buzzing with life: we saw a hummingbird and many other colourful birds straight from the veranda! Recommended. The hostel in the center, but it was quiet, no noise. The room is tidy, everything is clean. Hose was very kind, sincere and helpful. He makes tours, rents bicycles. Everything was just great.

Very nice views of the valley, easy access to the top of Las Gachas. The beds were nice and firm. Was very quiet at night - no road noise at all (the property is on a dirt road that's about 10 minutes outside of Guadalupe town). Very easy checkout but there's a 5% fee to use a credit card.

Angela and Diana are the perfect hosts. The finca is an oasis of tranquility; and Guadalupe’s central plaza, overlooked by an imposing, atmospheric iglesia, is just a ten minute stroll away, along a pleasant country lane. The five dogs, three cats and the neighbor cows add to the bucolic restorative ambience. The casitas are cosy and well equipped with mini- kitchens and covered patio tables. In town try the trout at San Antonio restaurant and the coffee at El Laboratorio. Don’t miss Milton Romero’s two hour guided tour of his other-worldly property.

Might be the best value hotel in Colombia. Very clean. Close to the main plaza. Very nice owners. A fan that could blow the covers off you if you turn it to high. Private bath. Very quiet at night. A balcony where you watch the rain come down. A perfect place and a perfect price. Do not hesitate to stay there. Best place in town IMHO.
