Rafael, the owner, is a very kind and helpful individual. He helped us when we were lost in Guadalupe and couldn't find the place. He personally walked to our car to meet us and helped us find his place. He was very personable and willing to go the extra mile to help us locate a way to get cash in his small town, organized our tours, brought coffee in the morning, and even explained the intricacies of breeding cattle. The views are incredible. You are surrounded by green mountains and valleys and close to Las Gachas, waterfalls, rivers, caves and nature. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of nature.

The hostel in the center, but it was quiet, no noise. The room is tidy, everything is clean. Hose was very kind, sincere and helpful. He makes tours, rents bicycles. Everything was just great.

Very nice views of the valley, easy access to the top of Las Gachas. The beds were nice and firm. Was very quiet at night - no road noise at all (the property is on a dirt road that's about 10 minutes outside of Guadalupe town). Very easy checkout but there's a 5% fee to use a credit card.

Angela and Diana are the perfect hosts. The finca is an oasis of tranquility; and Guadalupe’s central plaza, overlooked by an imposing, atmospheric iglesia, is just a ten minute stroll away, along a pleasant country lane. The five dogs, three cats and the neighbor cows add to the bucolic restorative ambience. The casitas are cosy and well equipped with mini- kitchens and covered patio tables. In town try the trout at San Antonio restaurant and the coffee at El Laboratorio. Don’t miss Milton Romero’s two hour guided tour of his other-worldly property.

The location was great for visiting las gachas. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the reception was nice and helpful with answering all our questions. We had a good stay and would stay again.
