The hosts left a welcome sign with chocolates and filtered water, which we thought was very thoughtful of them. The apartment is very clean, and it's exactly like in the pictures. They also had a binder with instructions for the apartment. The binder also had information on restaurants. Before we even got to the apartment, they had sent a link with information on what to do in Quebec. Everything was very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated it. The location is wonderful. There are several trendy cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. We walked to the old town and back; it's about a 30-minute walk to get there. There is also a park nearby which we went and walked through it the very first day.

The new owners have rehabbed this inn with great attention to detail and quality. It is new yet retains all the charm of its 1800's roots. Donna and Yves have created a wonderful slice of old Quebec with all the conveniences of a modern inn. They are clearly passionate about their creation and personally involved in every facet of the inn, from the common areas to the private rooms and from the restaurant and grocery. Everything is maintained in period design and kept to the highest standard. The breakfast, alone, is worth a repeat visit. Fresh, delicious and a wide selection served with such attention to quality. To top it off, the locals make the dining area a true part of the neighborhood! Couldn't recommend Auberge J.A Moisan any higher.

This B&B is cleaned spotlessly. The owners are very warm and welcoming. They have great taste, decorate the house gracefully and beautifully. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast has many varieties (ham, cheese, different kinds of breads, deserts, home made muffins, and fruits, yogurts, juices, teas, and tasty coffee…) I would say the Breakfast is better than most of 3 star hotels.

The property is just gorgeous. Perfectly centered in town within walking distance to everything. It’s immaculate, thought out and well-stocked. Lisette was fabulous! Truly!  I have stayed at vacation rentals all around the world and she by far was my favorite!

The apartment was nicely-sized, excellent bathroom, and entry was a breeze (but make sure to really PULL the door towards you to open!) The main drag of St Roch is rough around the edges but you quickly see that’s a plus—the side streets are filled with charm and you’re well out of the tourist trap zone—but with easy access to old city. This neighborhood is filled with inspiring restaurants. Go for the Vieux Ville, but fall in love with the foodie scene!

Kitchen was fully equipped. It felt like a home away from home. We will book our March break there every year. Bonus: the washer machine was fabulous because we got to do our laundry before leaving :) Highly recommend this place!
