We booked this room last minute on our way to Kruje by car. The room is big, clean and modern. The location is perfect. They had a free parking stop saved for us. The host is the nicesttttt and sent us recommendations for the rest of our trip. Great value for money. I would recommend this for sure. They also offered a great breakfast deal served to the room (great to eat on the balcony) but we are not really breakfast people so we didn't take it.

The Castle is amazing, the utilities that are provided here are exemplary, you'll find more things here than you'll ever need! And on top of that, the owner is the most helpful and friendly host that I've ever met. I'd have no problems reccomending this place to anyone!

The view from the terrace of this place is simply amazing, especially the sunset. Also on the terrace they have a great restoran. The staff is very pleasant and helpful and food is delicious. Merlika rooms can be reached by car and there is a small parking, right in front of the main entrance. So, practically it is possible to enter the fortress by car. The accomodation is just couple of steps away from Museum of Skenderbeg. It is great to stay here, early in the morning it is possible to see the castle before other tourists arrive. Museum opens at 9 am. Next to it, there is also Museum of Etnography, but due to renovation it was closed. The bazaar is only 10 minutes walk away, there are many cafes and shops. Would recommend to people to buy some of the souvenirs, there are many cotton clothes and also wooden utensils for kitchen are also interesting. Wish you all a great time in Krujë :)

The staff (family) was really nice even if we were in low season. The home made food (we took the dinner there in extra and the included breakfast. Both of the meal were authentic traditional food and very great ! The dinner offered us the chance to taste plenty of lovely dishes. Room was small but comfortable and the bathroom and the shower were great. The whole room was clean and tidy. The location the this restaurant/guest house is excellent. Inside the castle (old town), you are at 2 minutes walk from the bazaar and the museum.
