The home cooked food, though bit expensive, was amongst the best we had in our stay if 9 days in Kashmir. The location is wonderful, being open to the lake from the rooms windows, and not adjoining other houseboats. Ghat 12 itself is the one from which the Dal lake opens up wide. For the price this houseboat is good value for money. Don't miss to take a Shikara ride - ideally take it to Char Chinar garden round trip

Dining under the starry sky with delicious Kashmiri cuisine made every evening magical. Above all, the warm hospitality of the hosts made our stay truly special.
