Situated in Luxor, Floating Hotel- Happy Nile Boat features a restaurant, river views and free WiFi, 3.5 km from Colossi of Memnon and 4.5 km from Medinet Habu Temple. I chose this boat hotel for a different experience, and I'm very happy that I made that choice. It is nice to sit on the deck in the evenings and watch the lights of Luxor across the river, and wake up to see sunrise on the Nile from across Luxor Temple. You can't ask for a better host than Ahmed. He goes above and beyond his duty. He regaled me with stories of his family, got me a SIM card and a bike rental, and showed me the local village. The Egyptian breakfast on the deck of the boat was delicious. The room was a little small and the boat is undergoing some repairs. But I strongly recommend this experience to everyone and I will myself come back here next time I visit Luxor.
