Host was absolutely wonderful - allowed me to drop my backpack off earlier and even offered to pick Me up from the bus station, was so kind when I was feeling out of sorts. Great location close to everything I needed, far enough away from crowds to appreciate the quiet nights on the water.

If you are used to sleeping in a campsites or in countryside, then you will like the accommodation. The accommodation is similar to the campsite, including a shower and toilet outside the boat in the marina building. If you require comfortable accommodation and sterile cleanliness, then it is better to buy a holiday in an all inclusive hotel. You can experience a three-day gale like me on a boat, and you don't need anything to feel like a lone sea wolf. -)BorisSolo traveler

It is situated in a lovely spot, being on a marina and there are restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. Cheaper supermarkets are only about 15 minutes away and the bus station is a 20 minute walk away (go to Punta Mujeres from there for a hidden gem that could almost be Cornwall bar the white buildings). This won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but those with more of a sense of adventure should enjoy it.NicholasSolo traveler
