Hon, the host and her family are so lovely. Hon helped us book tours and transportation. We had delicious Vietnamese home cooked meals. The location was great , close to town but away from any noise. I would highly recommend staying here.

Set in Phong Nha, Son River Homestay offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. located along the river a flat 10-15 minute walk from town but lots of restaurants along the way. the owner picked us up from the bus at 4am and allowed us to check in early. they connected us with a fantastic caving tour.. an absolute highlight of our month in Vietnam.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Phong Nha, Phong Nha Friendly Home is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. Very, very friendly staff. We've arrived in the middle of the night and were offered a place to sleep as well as breakfast outside the regular check-in times. Would go back at any time!

Situated in Phong Nha, Phong Nha - Tien's Cozy Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. This bed and breakfast features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Great place! Clean, spacious room and the location was great. The swimming pool was a bonus in the hot, humid weather. Cuba, the hotel manager, was fantastic - he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He helped us book a tour and our bus tickets too. Thank you, Cuba! Highly recommend Tien’s Cozy Homestay!

With lake views, Little Rock Homestay is set in Phong Nha and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Amazing option if you want to relax and enjoy the nature. The location is really good, far enough away from busy roads and noisy tourist spots. The property is located by the river and has its own pier. The view from my bungalow was fantastic (river and mountains on the other side).

Situated in Dong Hoi, Quang Binh region, 117 Bà Triệu Homestay is set 2.4 km from Nhat Le Beach. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Very kind owners. Very helpful and understanding. Very clean room.

Set just 200 metres from Nhat Le Beach, Peaceful House Hostel offers accommodation in Dong Hoi with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Unfortunately I only stayed here one night and left early in the morning for a day tour of phong Nha caves. Easily the nicest hostel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. The owner was so lovely and checked me in at 2am when my bus was delayed… the dorm was very nice with a hot shower. I didn’t get to take full advantage of this place but it was lovely. She let me leave my bag until 10pm before taking the night train to Ninh Binh.

It's spacious, clean, has a comfortable bed and pillows, and includes a nightlight and bedside outlets. The bathroom is also large and the shower has nice water pressure and hot water. We appreciated that breakfast was included and it was simple and tasty. The homestay is on a quiet street only a 10min walk to the middle of town, and there are also bikes you can borrow for free, which was very handy. The pool gets some nice afternoon sun and is clean. The best part of this homestay is the service. They picked us up at 4am from the bus station and let us check in early for a small fee. They also helped us craft our ideal itinerary for the 2 days we had there. They can help you find the perfect tour package if you want that, but they will also happily give you tips for exploring sites on your own. We booked the full-day paradise cave tour through them, which we really enjoyed. They also helped us arrange a motorbike and bus trip and let us pay for everything by credit card at the end. This family wants to do everything they can to make you comfortable, so you'll feel like you never want to leave. We couldn't recommend them more!

Nam Anh Hotel features a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Phong Nha. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Great place at the beginning of the main strip. Lots of restaurants and bars around. The room was very clean, and it was away from the street. This makes it quieter. Big bed with good mattress. Water pressure was also ok. The included breakfast was the best I had in a long time. Why? Because they went the extra mile and put some tomato and cucumber on the plate as well. The lady that runs the house speaks very good English. She can help you with trips or tickets as well.
