Charming place, excellent design, and a great value. Convenient to the thermal spas and a quick drive into town. Our host, Dominga, is wonderful, very friendly and attentive. We came as guests and left as friends.

Situated in Porvenir 17 kilometres from Paysandu City and 28 km from Colón, Estancia El Cangue features a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub. Everyone and everything! The owner is a perfect hostess, it is a true estancia. We saw the movement of cattle for sale, examining of cattle for pregnancy, there are sheep, turkeys, lot’s of beautiful horses actually being ridden and used in the work. Gorgeous gardens, old roses, and a wedding venue. Good AC, cool pool as it was hot. Food was delicious and a nice variety. There are various options for entertainment. Riding, fishing, canoeing, hiking or just enjoying the beauty of the estancia as we did. Also two super friendly retriever’s and a toy poodle. Three cats to round off the pets that welcomed us and reminded us of home.
