Idyllic, peaceful location where the main attractions are the wildlife, the spectacular sunrises and starry night skies. The cabin was beautifully presented, clean, cosy and had everything you could need. The breakfast provided was excellent & the hot tub was the icing on the cake! The host could not have been more welcoming and helpful to us. It was the perfect place to get away from it all & we would return in a heartbeat.

Great location, being able to walk into the historic downtown. Parking onsite. Room (we had Crockett Room) was clean, well presented, very comfortable bed and a good size. Breakfast was great and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table, meeting other people during breakfast. We just had an overnight stop during a long journey, but certainly could have stayed longer - a very comfortable, relaxing stop.

Nice quiet setting. Hosts were friendly, informative and very helpful. Breakfast each morning was prepared as we wanted. Will definitely be back.

The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful and completely clean and far exceeded any expectations I had had, and it was a delight staying here. Outdoors a beautiful little garden was almost finished, and it was a delight resting in the area there. Despite a little finish still lacking here in early spring, it was already gorgeous. We stayed at Regency Inn for the Eclipse viewing, and had an absolutely wonderful time. If you're looking to stay in the area I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had an amazing two-night stay at City on a Hill near Fredericksburg. The serene surroundings allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in nature, and the cabin provided a cozy retreat. The highlight was undoubtedly the jacuzzi – a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The presence of friendly animals added a charming touch, making our experience truly delightful. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Exceptional stay! We stopped here on our drive north, and it has been a highlight of our trip. The property is in an excellent location in today and has all the amenities needed plus more. S’mores by the fire with a glass of wine was a delight. Hospitality was top notch! Breakfast was wonderful, best scrambled eggs! Would have loved to have stayed longer.
