Beautiful old home with amazing wood decorations throughout this 1891 home. Probably the same people who did the Biltmore house. Met lovely people at the wine social every day. Rooms were amazing. Breakfast was very good and different each day.

Terrell House B&B offers a barbecue. Sue and Mike were absolutely amazing host. From the time we walked in to when we left. There kindness was amazing. Anyone that goes to Burnsville you must stay at Terrell House it's the best thing we did!! Thank you Sue and Mike xxx

At the bed and breakfast, the units include bed linen and towels. The breakfast was the best we ever had!!! Absolutely delicious! We were asked what we like for breakfast and Anna responded very individually to our wishes, herring and other savory dishes for my husband, sweet dishes for me. Every day different, every day a starter like overnight oats with fruit for example, and everything was fantastic!!! We both usually don‘t like grits, but had to change our mind. Anna’s grits are delicious. Also, I had the best banana-chocolate-French toast ever! Anna is the nicest person!! She gave us a lot of information and recommendations about the area and always was ready to help. The rooms are beautiful, the view fantastic, you have a Keurig coffeemaker and coffee, tea and hot chocolate in your room and also a fridge with drinks. Everything is furnished with love and there is nothing missing.

The room was clean, cozy, and well enough appointed to make you feel pampered. Comfortably bed. Clean, recently refreshed bathroom. They have several gathering places outside including a nice outdoor fireplace with lots of seating - hot logs on a cool night. Breakfast was certainly first class - Rich is a great chef. Kim is an informed host with the skinny on activities, restaurants, and what all. The lodge is on a quiet road close to everything - an easy walk to the beach and park area of Lake Lure. Top your day off with a home-baked cookie made fresh everyday.
