Everything starting from the welcoming arrival and our departure was so perfect that it is hard to imagine anything more than what we had. There was also a personal touch that you rarely meet with. The almost 100 years old house as such is is already an experience, not to mention the abundant fresh breakfast. Instead of one day, we could have stayed for one week... Highly recommend this place, you will not get disappointed!

We were given an informative & amusing tour by Jim who showed us 3 of the beautifully decorated rooms. A lot of thought & consideration has gone into the styling & history of each room. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft, warm linen. The rooms were large & would easily accommodate a family. It's located in a quiet street with plenty of parking onsite. As the building was double walled it provided a peaceful sleep. Donna cooked a delicious breakfast of waffles & fresh fruit. Endless tea & coffee provided with a story from Jim. Would highly recommend staying here. Wonderful hosts & history to this school building.

The room was very clean and comfy and the owner was super friendly and helpful. We appreciated the fresh fruit and bottled water in the room, as well the fruit, coffee and mini pastries in the lobby in the morning. We definitely recommend Nightshade Inn & Gardens!
