Wonderful from the moment we arrived! Pam and Dean are such gracious hosts who are very helpful and knowledgeable of the national park and surrounds. We met their three gorgeous greyhounds who are very loving and always up for a pat. The photos don’t do this place justice and the rooms are just super lovely and cozy. We’ve been travelling for a month and this is the best place we have stayed so far! Nothing was left unthought of and even takeaway cups were available for your morning coffee. We wish we had stayed longer and hope to get back sometime. in a great location only a short drive to the volcano national park and restaurants.

We had a lovely welcome from Andy and the directions we were given were perfect . The apartment was spacious , very well equipped and spotlessly clean . The sound of the waves from the nearby seashore was amazing .The location was perfect for visiting the volcano national park and we recommend joining a trip to the summit of Mauna Kea . We would highly recommend choosing to stay here and do go and look at the beautiful sunrise at the point about 2 minutes walk away .

Ping and Dane were really friendly and warm hosts. The room was clean and we were offered alot of fruit during our stay (harvested from Ping's garden). I like everything of this stay. The ocean view is amazing, and it’s even better to wake up and have breakfast with the sound of waves. Tomomi is super helpful and her breakfast is great.
