Thank you, to the kind owners who are deeply invested in making sure their guests have a wonderful experience at their property. The place itself is a hidden little gem, it's joined with another floating property to the left of it, which makes it, even more, homie, with lots of comfy areas, hammocks, etc to hang out. They have kayaks on the premises and you can just access the water straight from the property. I loved the sunrises and sunsets here, the sounds of birds and the easy access to the pier for scuba and transfer boats :D thank you to the owners who cut up fresh fruits for us daily, and were super welcoming.

First of, Koi and her sister are awesome hosts, always smiling and interact with people. Best people I've met in Thailand. The rooms are very clean and quiet, food is great, and always got some surprises. The place on terrace is very confy and beautiful, a serene place to watch the turtle in the morning and the eagles on the sky. If you need, there are some perfect places to have some work on the laptop. Location on the pier is also great, as you can easily get some boats to travel on other islands. (I've been to Ko Kood and come back to Koi to stay some more nights, and definitively I'll come back again). 7Eleven is just around the corner. Thank you Koi for hospitality!

Set within 1.5 km of Klong Prao Beach and 2.6 km of Kai Bae Beach, Maddekehaoo Eco Mansion offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ko Chang. What an incredible place the hosts have created! It is a little paradise, filled with tropical greenery, birds and flowers, art and beautiful furniture. It is incredibly stylish without being pretentious or stuffy - it totally reflects the hosts' excellent taste. Breakfast was next level - Roberto even offered to go out and get me fresh pastries on the morning when pancakes were on the menu (as if they weren't amazing enough). Excellent coffee, and surely Asia's best collection of coffee pots in the kitchen. Close to the beach and touristy restaurants, and a street with more local eateries (the Mango Tree was our favourite). All this topped off with the best on-site dog companion, Buddy the Golden retriever. She's always up for a cuddle or a ball game. Relaxing by the gorgeous pool listening to the drongos and other various birds was so relaxing - it felt like we had the place all to ourselves most of the time. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Situated just 500 metres from Bailan Beach, Lucky Gecko Garden offers accommodation in Ko Chang with access to a garden, a bar, as well as room service. The gecko is not the only one who is lucky. When staying here, you can count yourself in. A few bungalows standing in a beautiful green garden on a quiet and nice part of the island. Very good breakfast is served on your terrace, you can chill in the hammock or drink a beer with Mike who is a great host and makes you feel at home. The bungalows are fully equipped with a kingsize bed, fridge, safe, aircon and fan, big bathroom. Cleaned every day. Bailanbeach is within two minutes walk, Lonely Beach is a five minutes drive (taxi or scooter). Bailan has a small number of good restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. Lucky Gecko Garden is definitely the place to be if you're looking for a laidback atmosphere.

Situated by the river, Baan Rim Nam offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. A 3-minute walk from Klong Prao beach, the property provides free public parking on site. This guesthouse is amazing. It is located in a natural mangrove next to a beautiful river. The view from the spacious shared patio is breathtaking. My room was very comfortable. It had all the amenities of a luxury hotel, including a large TV with netflix and a beautiful bathroom with a strong shower. The free-to-use kayaks and SUP boards were a lovely feature that we very much enjoyed. I was further impressed that during an 8 hour island wide blackout, there was still power in the guesthouse. The staff, Pui and Mei, were always kind and helpful. True to Thai hospitality. All that for a very reasonable price.
