Comfortable room, great hosts and secure parking for our bicycles. It was drizzling rain and we were able to borrow umbrellas to walk into town for a meal, a pleasant albeit wet walk! Fresh cooked eggs and home made produce for breakfast made for a great start for our cycle to Maribor.

Situated in Lovrenc na Pohorju and only 28 km from Maribor Train Station, PENZIJON URBANC features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. we had a late arrival. still the host gave us a very warm welcome and prepared a late but delicious dinner. we enjoyed the short stay very much.

Set in Ivanjkovci and only 35 km from Ptuj Golf Course, Taverna & Wine Jeruzalem offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing couple of days at Taverna. Food was incredible (breakfast & dinner) wine was delicious and the views are absolutely stunning! All the staff is wonderful and friendly and welcoming. My favorite part was sitting on our patio enjoying a glass of wine with the sunset over the vineyards. I will absolutely return and recommend Taverna to anyone!
