Krivograd Guesthouse offers accommodation in Prevalje, 5 km from the Austrian border. It is a family run hotel and pets are welcome. Guesthouse management was very helpful and left my key in an accessible location in case I arrived early. The rooms facing the back are quite, and the breakfast was good with good coffee and a verity of food options to choose from.

Wow, from the drive up to the minute we left we loved everything about our stay! Beautiful view from a comfortable, spacious room. Had a cute balcony overlooking the valley and surroundings, the screens were such a wonderful addition to relax comfortably without worrying about bugs, comfy bed, huge smart television, friendliest and helpful staff (they booked dinner for us at a neighboring farm since their restaurant was closed), yummy breakfast at a time we selected, and experiencing a storm in the night was wonderful and refreshing. It was all fabulous!

They even offered us to put the bikes into a non used part of the dining room 😀. We were on the Drava Bike Tour and actually it is one of the last places before you have the challenge with the alitude to Maribor. A place worth to stay, when you book in advance. The Lady there was very hospital.
