Guests at Sälengården can enjoy a buffet breakfast. 50 km before Sälen our car had a flat tyre due to the sharp stones on the gravel road from the Nationalpark Fulufjället. Hans, the very friendly and helpful host, called us, when we'll arrive. As it was not possible to get a roadside service, he sent his grandson to collect us from the road, supported us in getting the car repaired again and cooked us a meal in the evening. Many thanks to Hans and his grandson!

Sälen Ski Resort is 40 km from Schweden Aktiv Bed & Breakfast. Very clean, spacious and we'll equipped apartment. Great big common dinning area/kitchen. Nice host 😁

This place is so peaceful and traditionally Swedish. The location by the river is idyllic and a fresh covering of snow made it all so magical. The owners Daniel and Anna are so friendly and helpful they couldn’t be better. Nothing, and I mean nothing is too much trouble.

An open fireplace is available in the shared dining room. Guests can also enjoy a bookable sauna, outdoor wooden hot tub and board games in the communal TV lounge. Horrmundsgården i Sälen staff arranges canoe rentals and guided fishing tours. great experience and warm welcome for us.

A buffet breakfast is available each morning during the period 1st of December until middle of April, at the bed and breakfast at an extra charge. Almost felt like coming home as the staff were so nice! Very friendly and attentive to what I wanted. The common living room was really nice and I got to use the restaurant kitchen to make dinner. The area is so tranquil and quiet.

Each bright and fresh guest room at Sörnäsgården Bed & Breakfast features a flat-screen TV and an in-room washbasin. Bathroom facilities are shared. Some rooms have views over the river. We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)
