Clean and nicely decorated rooms, simple but well prepared meals for dinner and breakfast and a very friendly host who took his time to tell us about the history of the ancient ruins in the area and places we can visit in the Danube Delta (in detail). The location surpassed our expectations, so we definitely recommend it.

Mrs Mocanu is looking for the best and plenty of food to be offered and creates a cosy atmosphere with great attention to details. Mr Mocanu has its own, silent, catamaran offering trips on the surrounding lakes and Danube channels.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Sfântu Gheorghe, Casa Carter is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. Very nice hosts! They welcomed us with a beer and arranged for a boat trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very satisfied!

Boasting barbecue facilities, Casa Trandafirilor is set in Tulcea. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Feels like going home plus everything you want to see or need in Tulcea is close by. My room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, the a/c was a Godsend, the towels were fluffy and plush, the entire facility is spotless. Anna and Edward were so nice I felt like I was at my daughter's house. Anna would drop everything to insist on that I have tea in the garden. She arranged for a trip to the Delta, including transfers to the marina, for three of us guests, which we were beyond pleased with. The center of town (sights, banks, restaurants, cafes, groc store, post office) is a quick walk.
