The house is an old manor full of character and charm, right in the center of Manteigas. The room is very spacious, the heating works great and the bed is comfy. The staff is really friendly, and went above and beyond to provide vegan breakfast options for us, after we asked at the time of booking if there would be any. They got us plant milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and galantine, and even made delicious apple pastries and pancakes for us! That's on top of what I assume is their usual, "accidentally vegan" assortment of different kinds of bread, cereal, fruit and jams. We couldn't be happier.

Bedroom and bathroom were a great size. Breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this little gem of a place to anyone.

The lodging is in the ground floor of a carefully modernized and upgraded house in the center of Gouveia. The host was completely fluent in English and Portuguese, and answered lots of questions about the town and surrounding area. The room was large and quiet, with a large spotless bath. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh foods.

Loved this place! The view was amazing, the bed's comfortable, the bathroom very luxurious and the staff (Patricia) was so helpful and super friendly! Extremely clean and had everything we needed (including a washing machine!). There are soooo many amenities: swimming pool, billiard, table tennis, volleyball court, super awesome bar (you can even create your own cocktails) etc. Very good breakfast! In this place everything makes you feel like a royalty. This is the best place we've stayed at so far!
