It was one of the most unique places I have ever visit. It is very peaceful and quite and the feeling is like you are in the middle of the forest. Our host Vicky was so nice and amazing.

I spent a very enjoyable three night stay here as a solo traveller. It is a quiet, secluded location. There is kayaking, fishing from the dock when the water is up, or from kayak. There are a few short hiking trails and a pool. The kitchen staff cleaned and cooked the fish i caught for dinner. Gilberto was a very welcoming and helpful host. A nice place to enjoy nature and Lake Gatun and relax.

BTW Anne-Marie is the only one person in Panama who doesn't want to be paid at check-in :) We asked for a room with the painting of Tamara Lempicka which we found on photos on booking.com - it appeared that there are two more reproductions hanging in the corridor and together with other nice "things" (Buddha, piano, other paintings) make this place exceptional together with its owner who does also very tasty breakfasts with many fruits (different that in other locations of Panama). The room was really spacious and very nice (not only due to the painting :) as well as the swimming pool. Sangria as a welcome drink was great too.
