Our room was so quiet and comfy and the shared toilet and shower was clean and spacious. The kitchen was so well stocked (spices, utensils, pans, etc). This guest house is better than the pictures! The views in and around the house are absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the front deck with an amazing view of the mountains. The owner was eager to help make us comfortable and offer suggestions on what to do in the area :) thank you!!

Tophouse Historical Inn Bed and breakfast has a garden, terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities in Saint Arnaud. It is situated 34 km from Rainbow Valley and features a shared lounge. this property was nicely located out of the township high up on a hill with a view out over to some snow clad hills. the self contained unit was lovely and clean, well appointed and warm and comfortable. the hosts were warm and friendly. The unit had everything we needed for a cost and comfortable evening.

Situated within 1.5 km of Motueka Saltwater Baths and 47 km of Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson in Motueka, Cabins on Tudor bed & breakfast features accommodation with seating area. Leigh was an exceptional host. Wonderfully unique accommodation set in beautiful gardens. Felt like we were staying with a friend. If we ever manage back to this part of New Zealand we will stay for longer.

Situated in Motueka and only 600 metres from Motueka Saltwater Baths, Haven on Glenaven B&B features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything! The room was beautiful all being made in wood. The bathroom was spacious. It was all spotless. The view over the mountains lovely. It is a few minutes walk to a pretty beach/bay. Our host Julie was very welcoming providing info about the area and suggesting what we could do and helping us plan our onward journey. The breakfast was tasty and copious. We loved our 2 night stay.

Offering free WiFi and set on the bank of a stream, Chalet Karaka offers accommodation 3 minutes' drive from Takaka village in Golden Bay. Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Wonderful welcoming and informative hosts, a delicious breakfast, helpful information on how to spend time in that area, lovely spot. Highly recommend.

Shady Rest Bed & Breakfast provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchen in Takaka. The property features mountain and garden views. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, and fun to talk with. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, conversation, and the wonderful and varied artwork on the walls. Marc and Janice were the perfect hosts.

Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts offer two different accommodation types and is located between Richmond and Mapua on the road to the Abel Tasman National Park. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!
