We enjoyed a very warm welcome, an empathic and friendly host, a nice breakfast, a quiet cottage with a splendid view. The meal in their restaurant was very delicious.

Julie is such a wonderful person, we loved staying at her lovely home and if I ever come back to the beautiful Able Tasman Nationalpark I‘m definitely gonna stay with her again 😊

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Comfortable beds and scrumptious breakfast. Marie's collection of art and antiques are awesome and we wish we stayed longer just to stand and stare. Highly recommend this B&B.
