3 km from Fitzroy Beach, Almost Heaven BNB is a recently renovated property set in New Plymouth and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Beautiful house and room. Very helpful and welcoming hosts. Bobby and Ian are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Loads of bottled water, welcome cookies, pineapple juice and chocolates. Aircon is great, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is left out for guests and is delicious. The accommodation is on the outskirts of New Plymouth but it's worth the drive. Super nice and helpful hosts!

Featuring garden views, Purakau Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities, around 300 metres from Fitzroy Beach. A hot tub is available for guests. Everything was just perfect. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and warm when we arrived. The pantry was full and there was a large selection for breakfast. The place is located in a quiet area yet not very far from the center. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back for more than one night given the chance.

Boasting quiet street views, Treetops On Heta features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 3 km from TSB Stadium. Very comfy, lots of lovely small touches (homemade treats were an added bonus)

Located in Hawera, Fossil Coast B&B provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a barbecue and mountain views. All rooms include a Smart TV and an en suite bathroom. The hosts were superb, very nice and accommodating. Charming house , spacious and clean rooms. Plenty of food in the fridge for a nice breakfast. Highly recommended.

Brecon Pond has a delightful Studio B&B which has been designed to help you relax after a hard day of work or after an eventful day enjoying what the Taranaki Region has to offer. Great B&B for any adventures to Mount Taranaki. The B&B is super well-furnished, comfortable, and has a view of Mount Taranaki if weather allows. The wifi is quite fast. The rain shower is quite enjoyable. Both the bed and sofa were very comfy. Hosts are super friendly! The highlights of breakfast are the eggs and honey straight from their farm/garden (some assembly required, but all appliances provided). Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely love to come back!

Boasting quiet street views, Regan House provides accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, around 42 km from Yarrow Stadium. Regan house far exceeded our expectations. Judith and Wayne were so hospitable. We greatly enjoyed having a chance to talk with them during breakfast, which was outstanding. The bedroom is beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, private bathroom. The bedroom opens into an extensive flower garden, which has places to sit and enjoy the garden and the birds. The hosts gave us helpful information on the area. Overall it's one of the best BnB's we've ever stayed in and we hope to return.

Just 3.4 km from New Plymouth city centre and the beach, 16 Havelock features free Wi-Fi, a tour desk and a communal lounge area with beautiful views of the ocean and Mount Taranaki. The hosts - Brad and Fujiko - the breakfast (with fresh eggs from the owner's chickens, and bread baked daily), and the view really make this place special. The indoor space is clean and comfortable, and the quiet street location make for a comfortable stay.
