The hosts, Tim and Mary, were engaging and friendly. Breakfast choices were varied and the homemade pizza menu was a welcome touch after a long drive when we arrived. I wished that we could have stayed longer and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to explore the Lake Taupō area. The one thing we learned on our drive up and down both islands is to base yourself somewhere for a few days and travel out each day - this is ideal for that!
