Situated in Taupo, 35 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley and 16 km from Great Lake Convention Centre, Hilltop Whakaipo Estate features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a shared... The property was so picturesque on top of the hill looking out to the mountains and lake. At night, we could enjoy the beautiful stars. Michelle & Peter were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious, and we got a tour of their farm. Their 3 dogs were wonderful and friendly. The facilities were clean and comfortable.

The hot tub was a wonderful bonus made even better by the clear nights sky and beautiful stars.

Well appointed rooms, outstanding breakfasts and very welcoming and warm hosts made this a very special experience for us. We also had pizza dinner and Mary’s amazing pavlova. Excellent base to explore Tongariro Park.
