Margaritaville Hahei, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Hahei, 500 metres from Hahei Beach, 2.6 km from Mare's Leg Beach, as well as 1.3 km from Cathedral Cove. Everything was great. Our hosts were very nice. There were beach towels and spades for the hot water beach available, and there were a couple of margaritas waiting for us upon arrival. The room was great and bed was super comfortable. I can’t recommend enough. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Hahei. Thank you!

Heather and Don were fantastic hosts. Very attentive, let us park in their garage, cooked us a fabulous breakfast each day on the oceanfront balcony, and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. You have a private bedroom and bathroom with a separate entry but you also have access to their living room, kitchen, and oceanfront balcony. The house is walking distance (0.1-0.2 miles) from downtown Whitianga's restaurants and wharf. Heather and Don also gave us a bottle of Chardonnay, fruit, and snacks and the room is stocked with all kinds of things you might need but have forgotten. They even let us borrow their shovels to go to Hot Water Beach and dig to the underground hot water springs, saving us from having to rent.

Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast is a 155 year old hotel and is listed as a Category 2 building on the New Zealand Heritage List. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. The welcome drink was an unexpected bonus and the host was very informative about the history of the town and the hotel.

Situato a Whitianga, l'Albert Mews B and B offre sistemazioni con bagno interno e patio. La tariffa include la connessione WiFi e la colazione continentale. TV a schermo piatto e macchina da caffè. Stanza a piano terra, parte di un appartamento privato in fronte mare. Ben arredata, ottimo materasso, bagno perfetto con una super doccia. Piccolo angolo di una stanza adiacente adibito a breakfast, con separé che permetteva di mantenere la privacy. Colazione in frigo: marmellate favolose, burro, succo di arancia, yogurt e macedonia. Pane e frutta fresca. Mancava il salato ma non per questo perde punteggio. Davanti la stanza, nel giardino, una piccola veranda chiusa con tavolino e sedie. E’ stato molto bello soggiornare qui !

Andrea was very welcoming, showing us around our unit and the property. She helped us with directions to our kayaking adventure the next morning. She also invited us to take a shower in their outdoor shower after we checked out, even providing towels for our use.
