Absolutely loved our time here! Mara was a wonderful host and great to talk to and very happy to help. It was home from home. The farmhouse is beautiful and the kitchen extremely well equipped. We were the only guests for the 2 nights. The sun room was perfect for relaxing after a day’s exploring. Highly, highly recommend!

Facing the seafront in Solvorn, Villa Solvorn has a garden and a terrace. The property features sea and mountain views, and is 27 km from Kaupanger Stave Church. Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use. The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple.
