Overlooking the Gudbrandsdal valley, this inn is located in Tretten village. It offers an in-house restaurant and guest rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Hafjell ski resort is 25 km away. Due to weather issues we were super late. We arrived at 1:40am and a small cute message with all important information and the key was waiting for us. During the trip we weren't sure even if we would be able to reach the hotel at all but someone from the hotel was always in touch.

Set in Lillehammer in the Oppland region and Maihaugen reachable within 700 metres, Overgaard offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, ski-to-door access and free private parking.... It was all so wonderful. beautiful house, nice little room, well equipped kitchen area, living room, like being at home. The host so welcoming, friendly & helpful. I could even stay at the living area after checkout until the time my train went without additional cost (I offered to pay). I don't think I have experienced something like this before, and I travel a lot...
