Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker! The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

De Cyprian is a traditional farm set in scenic countryside, in the small village of Baaiduinen on the island of Terschelling. The location was convenient to the west, mid, and east side of the island. The breakfast was delicious and served in a very cool dining area. The breakfast buffet was an old boat attached to the wall.

This charming old parsonage dates back from 1907, and is now a cosy and intimate B&B. It is a good choice for a relaxing, quiet stay, surrounded by nature. The location is excellent and so is the hospitality. You feel immediately at home, by sitting in the garden, picking up a drink from the fridge, having a home made breakfast on the terrace.
