You find this little gem in the small village Uis. We were greeted by the owners David and his wife Annika and invited to have a glass of wine or a cold beer before checking in to our rooms. There are only four rooms, or rather four bungalows each with an outstanding interior. Beautiful decorations and paintings in each room. Spacious and with the little extra of everything. Big and comfortable bed. Amazing bathroom. Beautiful garden and a small plunge pool. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. But most of all the friendly hospitality from David and Annika. They really made us feel at home. Can highly recommend this wonderful B&B!

Only opened for 5 months so everything was pristine. Much better than we were expecting. We loved the property Very personal service including opening the restaurant early to allow us to have breakfast before we left early in the morning. Whilst the parking bays were just off the road they provided a security guard the whole night sitting next the vehicles - brilliant!

Best place we have ever booked a room. Spectacular is the word for anything you can think of. House, neighbourhood, wifi, cleanliness, breakfast and staff are 20 out of 10. Special thanks to the owner who made everything possible so that our stay is the best.

Vicky was super friendly and accommodating. She even agreed to take us to the airport at the end of our stay because her usual driver and backup were out of town. The room was perfect for our needs. There were thousands of flamingos in the lagoon and several other shorebirds. We enjoyed our stay here.

We were made to feel very welcome for our entire stay. The room was big, clean, comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, service was brilliant and the beach was only a minutes walk away. Property came with parking, was a nice quiet location yet restaurants/bars etc were only a few mins drive away. We really enjoyed the extras in our room to make our stay even more perfect.

Alternative Space B & B is set a 5-minute drive from the centre of Swakopmund. This arty and alternative bed and breakfast offers unique accommodation. The rooms are very spacious and delicately designed providing a welcoming and warm environment to come to rest.

There was no ac in our room, but we did not find this to be an issue at all when we opened the windows and turned on the fan, even during summertime. Christa is an amazing host and really made us feel at home. Would highly recommend doing the nature drive and walks around the property.
