It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

Tucked away from the main street and the perfect distance from the beach. So comfortable, clean and the fans worked a treat on hot days. Couldn't ask for more. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will be lucky enough to meet one of the most amazing hosts, Paula. In a time of crisis for myself and partner miles and miles from home, Paula went above and beyond what any host ever would. A woman with infinite amounts of kindness. I will never forget my stay here.

Located in Brisas de Zicatela, Bugambilias Alojamiento provides a garden. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the guest house, rooms come with a wardrobe. First of all: What makes a hostel stay amazing? Isnt it about the people you meet and how cozy and at home you feel? Bugambilas Hostel was a perfect stay for us. Its a local run business located just a few minutes from the beach and the main street in la punta. Its quiet at night and a very calm get away from the party people on the main street. Dalia welcomed us as we are friends for a long time. We stayed 2 weeks and still coming back to hang out there. We stayed at a private room. The Hostel offers Dorm rooms, capsules with aircon and private little bungalows. The place is only some month old and offers everything you need (kitchen, hammocks, hangout area etc). And the best: Dalia is building a nice pool at the moment and a little shop. Dalia and all the people we met made our stay unforgettable and we made friends for life. Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. It was an oasis. We loved the place and how Magnolia (the owner) was taking care of it with love. She was there every day, watering the plants, cleaning and it was amazing how committed she was to the place. We had one of the new rooms and it was the best and most comfortable accommodation we’ve had in Mexico. Like the others said, the shower was amazing, the bed super comfortable and we simply felt great there. You can also cook in there, the kitchen is in the other part of the garden and was fully equipped. We could also get cold water at the reception anytime we wanted so there was no need to buy the bottled one. Thank you so much Magnolia, you truly were the best host and we wish to come back again to Casa Sixta! ❤️

Offering a garden and garden view, Casa Mayo B&B is situated in Oaxaca City, 13 km from Monte Alban and 46 km from Mitla. It is set 4.6 km from Santo Domingo Temple and features luggage storage space.... I love everything about Casa Mayo and will definitely be returning. I looked forward to breakfast every day, and the owner's knowledge and expertise were unparalleled.

Villa Bonobo features an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Puerto Escondido. There is a communal oven and coffee machine. One of the best hostels / villas I have ever travelled to. Location is good, facilities are amazing but you will stay because of the amazing. You're the best!

Cabañas Amaia in Mazunte provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. It’s really quiet and you have the pool almost to yourself. The rooms are super clean and we hammock outside our house. November and early December are the best months to go.

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Everything ! Being a more aged traveller i was welcomed and included in all events. The location was fantastic and really simplified my ability to get around the city and tour the many sites. I would 100% stay there again when my travels take me that way.

Located in Oaxaca City, 8.5 km from Monte Alban and 300 metres from the centre, Comala Bed & Breakfast provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. The location is excellent, right in town, very near to restaurants, zocalo, market etc. Found it because it was near the starting point of a tour I booked, which was also excellent btw (By Locals). The staff was helpful, specially the guy who welcomes us (don’e recall his name :( curly haired and there most of the day. He is probably the nicest, friendliest and most helpful hotel personnel I have ever met. The hotel is small, but all we needed was a place to sleep since the trip was short and I wanted to be out exploring most of the day. However, the room has absolutely everything you need and very clean. Ac, tv, bathroom, wifi, comfy bed and pillows. Totally recommend.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. Location, ambiance, perfect get away for three days. Totally relaxing.
