Nested in one of its traditional neighborhoods, the hotel is comfortable, clean, well-decorated and the management is great! Todd and Jeanne made my stay flawless. Downtown and malecón just a few blocks by foot. Breakfast is included and Jeanne’s overnight oats are to die for. I will definitely return to this hotel when I’m back in Campeche!

We were basically alone in the hostel and had a great time. It is very clean and a beautiful old house with modern bathrooms. The pool is refreshing. Hostal Otoch Beek is located in Becan, 102 km from Calakmul archaeological site and 8 km from Xpujil, the main town. Otoch Béek Calakmul features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Kind host, offering a snack package when we left early. Best place to stay when visiting Calakmul!

Very comfortable and private casita albeit rustic and was wonderful place to stay while exploring the area. We felt like part of the family and were probably the only tourists in this tiny town. We loved the family, especially the mother Lucy and her husband. They were so welcoming and friendly! She asked us what we wanted for dinner and when we wanted to eat and then cooked us a big delicious meal with meat, beans, rice and veggies. We were really hungry after visiting the eco park and cenotes nearby. She also made us breakfast and cut fruit including mango and oranges from their trees. We wished our Spanish had been better so we could communicate more with them. Her grown son and daughter were also very kind.
