Our two-storey bungalow was very spacious and featured two double beds, two single beds and one balcony with sofas. The staff is simply exceptional and responsive, willing to fulfill every single request. You can book at the reception the most popular excursions on the island at very honest prices. Its small and cosy restaurant is open for breakfast (which is included in the bungalow rate), lunch and dinner. Wide choice of tasty, simple dishes at very modest prices. A big thank you to Iacopo and Diego who made my holiday on this fantastic island one of the most beautiful memories I will cherish forever thanks to their great helpfulness and kindness! Real value for (little) money, absolutely recommended!

The house is beautiful and the room is so comfortable, clean and perfect for the setting. Nadia makes delicious dishes and even catered for my vegan diet. Bernard organized local tours and gives the best advice. They even cared for me when there was a tropical cyclone and I needed to stay another evening. It is like being with family friends, warm and caring (especially with the warm welcomes of Mouffa the sweet family pet!). Highly recommended!

Guests can relax in the lush garden or in the shared lounge. Free private parking is possible on site. Our stay at Les Hibiscus was everything we expected and much more. Our host Solange, warmly welcomed us with refreshing cool fruit juice. Our room was very tastefully furnished, replete with a Krups coffee maker (the capsules are not gratis). The attached and private plunge pool was perfect for taking the edge off the warm afternoons or for a bracing morning 'swim'. The self-catering area was deluxe and had all we needed to make cooked breakfasts or full meals. It's style and class were, like our room, something out of a home and leisure magazine feature. The entire spacious property is immaculately landscaped with solar lights to lead one back from the hill overlooking the sea and Nosy Tanga after watching sunsets in comfortable recliners. The various rooms on the property are all separate and private. Solange was generous with her local knowledge and her staff looked after us very well. There's also a night watchman who let us in and out of the property when we ventured out and back. Les Hibiscus is centrally located and close to a motorcycle rental, a supermarket, the bustling village of Dzamandjar, fifteen minutes stroll from the beach and catching a tuk tuk to places near and far. We can only highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Eastern side of Nosy Be for business or pleasure whether alone, as a couple or in a larger group.

The units include a private bathroom, bathrobes and bed linen. Giannie, the host, was incredible. She took great care of us during our stay and then went above and beyond afterwards. We had mistakenly packed a couple of their towels which she came to collect from the next hotel we stayed at. She organized an airport transfer at a much better rate than our next hotel offered. When our next hotel couldn't arrange a babysitter she found one. And, lastly, when our son left his small suitcase in the taxi that we took to the airport, she arranged to get it back and hold it at Villa Vintana until we returned again. Gracious and cheerful from start to finish. The common areas are limited, but they make the best of them--some board games, games for the kids, TV and lounge area. And they organized tours at a much better rate than other hotels. Food and drink prices were also better value than other restaurants or hotels we went to.
