Host picked me up from bus stop which is extremely helpful because it was raining and there were no tuk tuk there. I had to go to Ella later, host provided best guidance how to get direct bus. Host took me on his car to bus stop. Bus stop was quite far. Host ensures I boarded bus safely and then he left. Best host I had ever.

One of my favourite stays surprisingly. We stayed just for the safari but this place was really great. The staff were so nice and you really felt like you got to know them. The food was good with quite a wide range of options. But the best part was simply the location. You are really right out in the middle of the rice fields and the views and peacefulness of the place were so great. Bring a book and just hang out on the grounds watching the fields.

Very honest owners, who offered to help me negotiate with another seller. Gayan, the husband, brought me around to see bats on two nights (for free!) upon my request - a unique experience in Tissa to see dozens of bats waking up and flying in early evening. They also dropped me off at the bus station for my next journey.
