Best place. Host is so kind thar he will take great care of each and everything. Room was so nice and clean with chilled AC and fan. Host picked me up from bus stop which is extremely helpful because it was raining and there were no tuk tuk there. I had to go to Ella later, host provided best guidance how to get direct bus. Host took me on his car to bus stop. Bus stop was quite far. Host ensures I boarded bus safely and then he left. Best host I had ever.

One of my favourite stays surprisingly. We stayed just for the safari but this place was really great. The staff were so nice and you really felt like you got to know them. The food was good with quite a wide range of options. But the best part was simply the location. You are really right out in the middle of the rice fields and the views and peacefulness of the place were so great. Bring a book and just hang out on the grounds watching the fields.

He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

Tissa Lake Resort, Tissa Wewa'ya 2,2 kilometre uzaklıktaki Tissamaharama'da yer alan bahçeli bir tesistir. Tesiste restoran ve 24 saat açık resepsiyon vardır. The family was amazingly welcoming and super helpful with all you could ask for. They took great care of us, starting with a tour around the lake with Tharindu, they offered coffee and some local fruits of their garden, we had great talks with the family. We even saw Crocs from the garden!! We loved the garden of the house, so cute!! We would always come back for sure. we also booked the Safari with tharindu which was super cool trip, highly recommend it to book with him :-)

Very honest owners, who offered to help me negotiate with another seller. Gayan, the husband, brought me around to see bats on two nights (for free!) upon my request - a unique experience in Tissa to see dozens of bats waking up and flying in early evening. They also dropped me off at the bus station for my next journey.
