Echt de meest aardige gastheer ooit! Hij haalde ons op met zijn auto van het busstation en bracht ons overal heen (restaurants, supermarkt) zonder dat daar kosten aan verbonden zaten! Bij aankomst kregen we een verse kokosnoot en we mochten gelijk mee op lake tour. Hij regelde ook de safari voor ons en die was super. De kamer was perfect schoon, de douche was warm en de airco werkte goed. Na de safari konden we gewoon nog even douchen ondanks dat we al uit hadden gecheckt. Ook heeft hij ons voor een goede prijs naar Ella gebracht, hebben we olifanten onderweg gespot en wat stops gemaakt bij watervallen etc. Echt een geweldige ervaring.

Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

We stayed just for the safari but this place was really great. The staff were so nice and you really felt like you got to know them. The food was good with quite a wide range of options. But the best part was simply the location. You are really right out in the middle of the rice fields and the views and peacefulness of the place were so great. Bring a book and just hang out on the grounds watching the fields.

De kamer was erg schoon en er was een warme douche. Dankzij hem hebben we een super ervaring gehad. Erg aan te raden!

The family was amazingly welcoming and super helpful with all you could ask for. They took great care of us, starting with a tour around the lake with Tharindu, they offered coffee and some local fruits of their garden, we had great talks with the family. We even saw Crocs from the garden!! We loved the garden of the house, so cute!! We would always come back for sure. we also booked the Safari with tharindu which was super cool trip, highly recommend it to book with him :-)

Our stay in this beautiful treehouse was absolutely amazing. The accommodation was super clean and organized. The location is perfect - in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view over the lake. I also recommend you to try the dinner and breakfast - both were delicious. And the most special thing about this place: spending time with such a warmhearted and kind family. We would have loved to stay much longer to share more moments and conversations with them. They took such good care of us. When we took the bus to Ella they even joined us at the bus station to make sure we catch the correct one.
